Daily Adult Words
The Daily Adult Words Report provides feedback about your child's language environment. Maintaining a high precentile rank with the total number of words you speak to your child each day is critical for establishing a rich language environment and an enhanced lifelong learning curve. You can also see your progress by checking the average number of words your child hears per day during a month of LENA use - and corresponding percentile rank - in the Monthly Adult Words Report.
Hourly Conversational Turns
The Hourly Conversational Turns Report provides feedback about your patterns of conversation throughout the day. Matching this report with your child's activities during the day will give you an informative picture of your daily language environment, allowing you to assess where and when more conversational turns could be elicited from your child.
Daily Conversational Turns
The Daily Conversational Turns Report provides feedback about the total amount of engaged interaction that occurs with your child. A conversational turn is a vocal initiation (coos, squeals, babbles, or words) by your child and a response by you, or vice versa. A high percentile rank for conversational turns establishes a rich language environment and an enhanced lifelong learning curve for your child. You can also see the average amount of these conversational turns your child experiences per day during a month of LENA use - and corresponding percentile rank - in the Monthly Conversational Turns report.
Developmental Snapshot
The Developmental Snapshot is an age-appropriate questionnaire that estimates your child's developmental age up to 36 months. LENA scientists and speech language pathologists developed the questionnaire, which is reliable and valid, and is highly correlated to standardized developmental assessments. See how your child's developmental age compares to his or her actual age...
Comparative Reports
Compare - on a percentile rank basis - your conversational turns and adult words with other LENA users. View national norms and even data for specific demographic segments of the population, such as parents with a college degree or higher. You can also calculate how your percentile rank can change when you enter 'What If' numbers.
